Rev. Milton B. Hobbs was installed as senior pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church of Springfield, NJ in March 2018. He had previously served as senior pastor of New Covenant Fellowship of Clark for 16 years and was called to lead Antioch after the passing of Rev. Clarence Alston who faithfully shepherded the flock for over 50 years.
As an ordained minister and a leader in the faith-based community, Milton has been able to leverage access through his associations and help drive success in community-based initiatives. Presently, Milton is acting Executive Director of the Antioch CDC (aka Collaborative Community Services). As part of his responsibilities, he is developing a comprehensive community service delivery system which includes grant research, applications, community training, planning, organizing, monitoring, as well as evaluating federal, state, and county community-oriented programs.
Milton was ordained in July 1997 after graduating from Aenon Bible College that same year. He holds a BA in both English and Urban Communication from Rutgers University.
