Midweek Meditation

I've found a Friend, Who is all to me, His love is ever true; I love to tell how He lifted me, And what His grace can do for you. Saved by His power divine, Saved to new life sublime! Life now is sweet and my joy is complete, For I'm saved, saved, saved! 

Father, we praise and worship you this morning for life, liberty, and the joy of salvation. We delight in your presence and surrender to the flow of your anointing urging our spirits to submit to you in heartfelt prayer and supplication. You are the light of our lives. You are the essence of our being. You alone command our wills, order our ways, and direct our footsteps. Glory to your holy name. 

Lord, the extent of your love is unsearchable, and the bounds of your grace never-ending. Your joy provides us strength, and just the mention of your name brings power. Your are the highest expression of holiness and the grandest example of humbleness. We seek to imitate and emulate your divine nature in our lives today. 

So Holy Spirit, teach us. Direct and instruct us. Empower and prepare us. We want to live holy. We want to live right. We want to walk worthy and be pleasing in your sight. Save us Lord, save us. Strengthen, protect, guide, and maintain us according to your will and good pleasure. These things we pray in the matchless name of Christ Jesus our Lord.
