Midweek Meditation

Men ought always pray, pray and never cease, lifting up holy hands, without wrath or doubting; pray, pray, pray, without ceasing...It’s praying time

Father, we bow before you, bringing our worries, concerns, challenges and supplications. We surrender all our issues and situations to your control. We empty ourselves of ourselves to be filled completely and totally by you. Fill us with your Spirit we pray. Fill us to overflowing. Allow your glory to shine and your anointing to radiate within our mortal bodies until the entire world can see your righteousness. 

Lord, we are simply humble servants groveling at your feet. We seek morsels of mercy and grains of grace that we may be strengthened to do your will. We reach to touch the hem of your garment, knowing in doing so we will be made whole. We languish at the well of Living Water awaiting a bountiful refreshing that will spring up in our souls to everlasting life. Come even now Lord, Jesus. We can’t do a thing without you. 

Holy Spirit, we seek guidance, mercy, wisdom and your love. Teach us the ways of salvation. Uncover the hidden evil in our hearts that it may be vanquished and our souls set at peace. Heal the brokenness of our stony hearts and make our hearts anew. We delight in you and you alone. Help us. Heal us. Save and complete us. It’s in the name of Jesus the Christ, Son of the Living God that we pray.
