Midweek Meditation

In times like these you need a Savior, In times like these you need an anchor; Be very sure, be very sure, Your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock! This Rock is Jesus, Yes He's the One, This Rock is Jesus, the only One; Be very sure, be very sure,Your anchor holds and grips the Solid Rock!

Father, we wake with great excitement at the notion of your glorious presence accompanying us once again through another day. We are delighted, excited, and totally enthusiastic about our station in life with you by our side. No matter the problems, situations, circumstances, trials, or tribulations we may face, we are yours. We are your children. We are your elect and your select. We are your soldiers, army, servants, and vanguards of the Gospel of hope and eternal life. Father, we love you more than life itself. Thank you for being our God. 

Lord, we ready ourselves today for a morning of promise, purpose, and power. We walk steadily in concert with your will, your way, and your desire. We abandon all selfish ambitions and personal aggrandizement, in favor for the simplicity of your gentle touch. 

Speak Holy Spirit and we will obey. Lead us Lord and we will follow. Holy Ghost help us. Help us to stand. Help us to successfully battle the many forces of darkness that may try to darken our day. And Father, lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory, forever and ever...in Jesus name we pray.
