Midweek Meditation

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus; there's just something about that name. Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain; Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, let all Heaven and earth proclaim. Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, but there's something about that name.

Father, we bow before You this morning in recognition of the sacrifice You made for us at Calvary. You gave of Yourself to save us. You sacrificed Your begotten Son that we may be made whole. There’s only one measure to adequately express Your grace toward us. There is only one expression to equate the boundaries of Your love for us. And that’s Christ Jesus our Lord.

Lord, we honor You today. We praise and worship You. You alone are righteous. You alone are holy. You alone are true, compassionate, kind and merciful. Our souls rejoice at the mere mention of Your glorious name. 

Holy Spirit, please be our guide today. Lead us. Teach us. Instruct and direct us. We need Your touch. We yearn for Your embrace. Hold us and we will be made whole. Fill us with an anointing from heaven. Enter into our hearts, minds and souls. Complete us. Encompass us with Your power; and save us all we pray. These things we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
