Midweek Meditation

Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! He has done great things, He has done great things, He has done great things, bless His holy name!

Father, we come before Your Throne of Grace this morning simply to bless Your magnificent and holy name. You are worthy of all honor, glory, and praise. There is no other we bow before. No one is worthy. No one is as gracious, loving and kind. From the rising of the sun until the setting of the same, You are worthy of all our dedication, obedience, sacrifice and compassion. There is none like You.

Lord, we thank you for another opportunity to celebrate Your presence in our lives. Had it not been for Your mercy we would be eternally lost. Had it not been for Your grace we would be forever doomed. You gave us the keys to the kingdom, called us family, and have grafted each of us into the Tree of Life, Liberty and Salvation. You are our Savior, our Sovereign and our King. 

Holy Spirit, guide us this day in the ways of holiness. Make our feet to follow the path You’ve set before us, our eyes to focus on the souls You’ve placed in our way, and our hearts, minds and bodies to work diligently to bring Your Kingdom into view today and always. It’s in the name of Jesus the Christ that we pray.
