Midweek Meditation

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus; there's just something about that name. Master, Savior, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain; Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, let all Heaven and earth proclaim. Kings and kingdoms will all pass away, But there's something about that name.

Father, thank You for inviting us before Your throne of grace again today. We live in anticipation of these moments in prayer, knowing when You hear our cries, help is on its way. So, we thank You now in advance for Your deliverance, salvation, peace, healing, grace, blessings and affection. Holy is Your wonderful name. 

Lord, we seek every opportunity to spread the good news of Your return. We labor diligently to demonstrate to an unbelieving world that Your love prevails. We do our best to honor You in our living, and imitate You in our lifestyles. But nothing is more precious or important to us than spending these times in Your presence. Lord, we need You. We worship and adore You. Glory to your name. 

Holy Spirit, if You will, continue to instruction us in the ways of holiness. Teach us how to pray. Teach us how to live, work, preach, and reach every person possible with the message of Your saving grace. Open our eyes that we may see. Open our minds that we may understand. And open our hearts that we may house Your love, affection and kindness to share with all humanity. It’s in the name of our Lord, Christ Jesus that we pray.
