Midweek Meditation

Come, ye disconsolate, where’er ye languish; Come to the mercy seat, fervently kneel. Here bring your wounded hearts; here tell your anguish. Earth has no sorrow that heav’n cannot heal.

Our Father and our God, hallowed be Your holy, marvelous, tremendous, glorious, and powerful name. We give to You all the glory, honor and praise. We worship You from the rising of the sun until the going down of the same. You alone are God, and there is none other. There is none as loving, and kind, generous, caring and affectionate as You. Glory to Your name. 

Lord, we bow before Your throne of mercy, kneeling in reverence at the mere mention of Your name. For in Your presence there is fullness of joy. In Your presence we find peace, contentment, and hope forevermore. You are the joy of our salvation. Our cups run over with exuberance, cheerfulness and exhilaration. You have made our lives complete. Wouldn’t trade nothing for our journey now. 

Holy Spirit, lead us, guide us along the way; Lord if You lead us we cannot stray. Let Your loving kindness and tender mercies overshadow our hearts and minds. Let us never wander from beneath the cover of Your love, nor the protection of Your powerful hands. Keep us. Bless us. And save us all. These things we humbly ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
