Midweek Meditation

He’s the great I Am, the everlasting Father, He’s the Prince of Peace, the great eternal Wonder, Holy Counselor and Zion’s righteous Gov’nor, He’s the great, He’s the great I Am.

Father, we try, but don’t have adequate words to describe our esteem and love for You. You are far beyond what our minds could ever comprehend. Your grace, mercy, affection, kindness and love are overwhelming. Your presence is all encompassing. In Your presence is the fullness of joy. Any moment without You is miserable, dead and incomplete. Glory and honor to Your wonderful name. 

His name shall be praise, His name shall be praised; the name of the Lord is a mighty strong tower, His name shall be praised. Lord, we certainly lift Your name in continuous praise this morning. We are nothing without You. We are lost without Your guidance, and condemned without Your gracious forgiveness. Our sins and shortcomings indict us, but Your grace and mercy free us, and make us whole. Glory to Your name. 

Holy Spirit, take over from here! Please lead us. Guide us. Teach us. Protect us. And save us all. These things we ask in the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
