Midweek Meditation

The windows of heaven are open, The fire is falling tonight. I've got joy, joy, joy in my soul, Since Jesus made ev'rything right. I gave Him my old filthy garment, He gave me a robe of pure white, And now I'm feasting on manna from heaven, and that's why I'm happy tonight.

Our Heavenly Father, hallowed is Your holy name. You are utterly and completely holy, loving, kind and true. There is no one, or nothing that could ever compare with You. There are no words, thoughts, actions or deeds that could adequately describe Your good nature, grace, mercy and long-suffering toward us. You are just that good. 

Lord, we are eternally grateful for Your love. We are forever in Your debt, and in Your care. Because of Your love we have determined to live each day in Your service. Because of Your care and concern, we have been empowered to make a marked difference in our world. 

Holy Ghost, overshadow us with Your anointing. Lord, let Your glory cloud sit over us. Spirit of the Living God, descend upon us, illuminate us with Your light, Your love and Your compassion. Cause us to be all that You want us to become. Mold us. Make us. Bend, and break us, if You must; because we want to be holy, we desire to live right. To that end, we give our lives to You this day. In Jesus name we pray.
