Midweek Meditation

I have found the God of Israel and the God of Jacob, too. I have found the God in the lion’s den who took old Daniel through. I have found the God that Moses had, from the rock the water came, Oh, praise the Lord, I am so glad that Jesus is His name. His name shall be praised, His name shall be praised. The name of the Lord is a mighty tower. His name shall be praised. 

Father, every day we look to You and Your steadfast love and affection. Every moment of each day we reflect upon Your gracious kindness and tender mercies. Glory to your name. 

Lord, in You alone are the joys of life and living. We seek Your face and search the world over for more of Your anointing and glory. We delight in doing Your will, hoping You are happy with our praise, and satisfied in our worship. 

Holy Spirit, please lift us from the doldrums of this present world and establish our hearts and minds on things above. Remove, and eradicate every sin, fault and failure and make us completely wholesome, as we celebrate You and Your presence in us both now and evermore. In Jesus name we pray.
