Midweek Meditation

His name shall be praised. His name shall be praised. The name of the Lord is a mighty strong tower. His name shall be praised. 

Father of Glory, our great and powerful King. We worship you today in Spirit and in Truth. You are the eternal Spirit that illuminates our souls; and you are the Word of Truth, made flesh to dwell among us, and lead us to righteousness. Your name is Great and greatly to be praised. 

Lord, let our attitudes be molded by you and all our attention be given to the things you desire. All our affection belongs to you. You are our heart’s desire. Your will is certainly our command. 

Holy Spirit, teach us the ways of holiness. Increase our resolve to love, our determination to serve, our desire to share and our capacity to care. We want to become what you would have us be...perfect in all our ways, upstanding, withstanding and in right standing with you. 

Father please bless those in our care. Favor the poor, the meek, the broken, the homeless, helpless and all experiencing misfortune, poverty, grief, hurt or pain. Save them all. Save us all. It’s in Jesus name that we offer this, and every prayer.
