Midweek Meditation

Father, I stretch my hands to Thee, No other help I know; If Thou withdraw Thyself from me, Ah! whither shall I go?

Lord God Almighty, we are delighted to come before your loving presence again today. We joyously gather in spiritual unity and fellowship of the faith, knowing, trusting and believing you are hearing and answering our petitions according to your gracious kindness and tender mercies toward us. 

Lord there is none like you. Even though you are high and lifted up, you always consider even the least of us. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your affection never wanes nor your love ever cease. What a mighty God we serve. 

Holy Spirit, we seek your help today. We are desperate for your guidance, instruction, teaching and understanding. Impart unto us the ways of holiness. Direct us in the pathways of righteousness. Lift our spirits, calm our hearts and minds. Increase our understanding. And fill our souls with your love. In everything we say and do, please be glorified in our living and manner of life. These things we ask in the precious name of Christ Jesus our Lord.
