Midweek Meditation

Lord I hear of showers of blessings Thou art scattering full and free. Showers the thirsty souls refreshing, Let some drops now fall on me. Even me lord, Even me. Even me lord, Even me. Let some drops now fall on me. 

Father, today we seek your presence to rain down upon us from heaven above. Saturate us with your power and love. Drench us under the flood of your anointing. Command the glory clouds to hover over our homes, our businesses, our families, friends and fellowships. Let your power be felt and your righteousness be established in our lives; and be glorified in everything we say and do. 

Lord, we pray for forgiveness for anything and everything we may have done or said that wasn’t pleasing in your sight. Forgive us. Wash us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Pardon us for transgressions large and small. Strengthen our resolve to serve you more. Increase our capacity to love, and our willingness to serve. 

Holy Spirit, we’re ready to go to work today. We have our armor on, and are ready for battle. Our heads are covered with helmets of salvation, our waist girded with truth. We carry our shields of faith, and adorn ourselves with your breastplates of righteousness and footwear designed to bring peace. And above all we battle with the Word on our side, which is our sword and eternal protection. Lead and guide us to victory in the name of Jesus Christ our King this day we pray.
