Midweek Meditation

A friend of Jesus! O what bliss, That one so vile as I, Should ever have a Friend like this; To lead me to the sky! Friendship with Jesus! Fellowship divine! O what blessed, sweet communion! Jesus is a Friend of mine.

Father of Glory, may your name be praised upon all the earth this morning. You are holy, righteous, magnificent and kind. Your name is great and greatly to be praised. We lift you up in celebration of life, liberty and joy in the Spirit. We bellow from our hearts and souls sacred sounds of surrender, glory and peace in the God and Rock of our salvation. Blessed be the name of our God. 

Lord, we rehearse in our minds the countless things you have done for us. You’ve saved us, raised us, comforted and protected us. You abide with us, in us and work through us to perform your good pleasure. You provide for us, restore us, keep and endure us when we are wrong. You forgive us, deliver us and empower us. You, and you alone are do all the glory. Without you, we can do nothing...we are nothing. But because of you, and by by power, we can do all things. 

Holy Spirit, please hear us now. We beg for your grace, mercy and kindness. Send your anointing now we pray. Touch, heal, deliver, set free, comfort, restore, calm and keep us all from hurt, harm or danger of any kind. These things we ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord
