Midweek Meditation

Speak to my heart, Holy Spirit. Give me the words that will bring new life. Words on the wings of a morning, my dark nights will fade away. Speak to my heart. Speak to my heart, Holy Spirit. Message of love to encourage me. Lifting my heart from the snare, how You love me and care for me. Speak to my heart. 

Father, we rise this morning in celebration of all that you are, all that you’ve done and all that you’ve given us. You are Master of all creation. You are ruler of everything. Your power is unlimited and your love never-ending. You are from eternity to eternity; nothing escapes your attention. Nothing is beyond your knowledge, and no one beyond your love. Glory to your name. 

Lord, we worship and praise you for making a way for our redemption to be realized. Your sacrifice at Calvary still amazes us. It was by your selfless act of love that we have been made free, complete, whole and holy. While we were still enemies, you died for us, purchased our salvation and befriended us. Who wouldn’t serve a God like you?

Holy Spirit, we long for your fellowship. We need to feel your loving embrace and hear the comforting whisper of your voice speaking to our hearts. We rely on your daily instruction. We can’t move until you direct us. We don’t know where to go, how to go, or what to say. Fill us with your power. And let the words of our mouths and meditations of our hearts be acceptable in thy sight, in Jesus name we pray.
