Midweek Meditation

Lead me, guide me along the way, For if you lead me I cannot stray. Lord let me walk each day with Thee. Lead me, oh Lord lead me.

Father, where could we go, or what could we possibly do without your strength, grace and power? We would all be like sheep that have gone astray if it weren’t for your guidance. We love you and surrender everything to you this day. We surrender our wills. We surrender our ways. We surrender our all. You alone know what’s best; and we gladly comply with your leading and direction. 

Lord, we thank you for your continued grace. Your mercy and unmerited favor sustains us through our most difficult situations. Your affection and compassion encourage our hearts and minds. We are strengthened by your presence and fortified by your righteousness. By the power of your grace please anoint us now we pray. 

Holy Spirit, anoint our hands to do your bidding. Anoint our lips to sing your praise. Anoint our hearts to be more loving, caring and kind to all your children. And anoint our minds to more completely comprehend the depths, heights and majesty of your boundless affection toward us. And may the words from our mouths and meditations of our hearts be acceptable in thy sight in Jesus name we pray.
