Midweek Meditation

I love the Lord, and I won't take it back, I love the Lord, and I won't take it back, I love the Lord, and I won't take it back, He has been so good to me. So good (so good), So good (so good), So good (so good), So very good. So good (so good),So good (so good),He has been so good to me. 

Father, your favor in our lives’ is undeniable; you have been so extremely good to us all. Though we too often complain, we live in unrivaled prosperity and unprecedented plenty. Though we seldom give you the praise, every breath we take is a gift from you. It was your grace that woke us this morning. It is your mercy that allows us to enjoy this very moment. Father, we bless you and worship you. Worthy is your name to be honored and adored. 

Lord, thank you for keeping us safe from dangers seen and unseen. Thank you for watching over us, caring for us, blessing and providing for us. Your amazing grace is beyond comprehension and kindness beyond compare. Who wouldn’t serve a God like you?

Holy Spirit, though we don’t have adequate words to describe what’s in our hearts today, please transcribe for us the sentiments of joyous wonder ringing in our souls. Speak for us of the extraordinary gratitude and thankfulness that fills our inner-person; causing us to praise, sing and shout, ‘hallelujah’ to your glorious name. We bless you today for your love, kindness, guidance, affection and care. Truly we serve a mighty God. These things we proclaim in the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
