Midweek Meditation

You can’t make me doubt him. You can’t make me doubt him. You can’t make me doubt him in my heart. You can’t make me doubt him; I know too much about him. You can’t make me doubt him in my heart. 

Father, we bow before your holy and gracious presence this morning in acknowledgement of your preeminence, power, might and love. We raise our hands toward the heavens to express our gratitude for your overwhelming kindness, mercy and affection. Great is your name and greatly to be praise. 

Lord, where would we be if you hadn’t found us? How could we make it even one moment if you didn’t care for us the way you do. You are our soul’s delight. Your grace sustains us. Your power maintains us. And the flow of your anointing fills our hearts with the hope of salvation. We are certain in whom we believe and place all our faith in your ability to perform all that you have promised. 

Holy Ghost rain on us today. Let the power of your Spirit overflow the gates of heaven and fall upon each of us now we pray. Rein in our wayward thoughts and troubled imaginations. Let our words, deeds and actions be pleasing in your sight. And Father, reign in our lives and take complete control. We surrender all things to you oh Lord. You truly reign supreme. These things we affirm in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
