Monday Morning Meditation

We come this far by faith, Leaning on the Lord, Trusting in His holy Word, He's never failed us yet. Singin' oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, can't turn a-round, We've come this far by faith.

Father, your continued love, presence, power and joy lift our hearts and cause us to celebrate in song, hymns and gleeful praise. We are overjoyed, delighted and ecstatic about you in our lives. We never dreamed, nor could we imagine the close relationship we now share with you was even possible. 

Lord, you are more than a ritual. You are greater than an obligation. You are more tangible than the air we breathe or food we consume. In you we live and have our being. You are King, Ruler, Sovereign, Potentate and yet our closest friend. You are our eternal guide and lover of our souls. It is not by our might or power that we are kept. Your affection is what sustains us in these troubled times. 

Holy Ghost, you’ve prepared us for these dark days and perilous nights. You’ve conditioned our hearts and strengthened our resolve. We hold on to your unchanging hand. We surrender to your holy will; as we worship you in Spirit and in Truth. 

Thank you for this time of reflection and heartfelt supplication. It is in the name of Christ Jesus we do pray.
