Monday Morning Meditation

Thank you Lord, for saving my soul, Thank you Lord, for making me whole; Thank you Lord, for giving to me Thy great salvation so rich and free.

Father, we bow once again before your throne of mercy and grace, thanking and praising you for another day. This is the day you have made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. We bless your holy and righteous name. We sing praises of delight and songs of adoration. You alone are our God, our salvation and Sovereign King. Glory to your name. 

Lord, there is none like you. Our hearts rejoice at the thought of your love and affection. Our souls are elated at the mere mention of your name. Our bodies, spirits and minds are forever indebted to you for your sacrifice at Calvary. Had it not been for you, where would any of us be?

Holy Spirit, teach us how to walk. Teach us how to talk, how to love, and how to treat our neighbors right. Guide our footsteps and guard our hearts this day we pray. Lift us above the evil present in our environment, and place us high above the reach of the Enemy. Let our supplications reach the ears of heaven and our petitions the heart of God. These things we ask believing and trusting in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
