Monday Morning Meditation

The church’s one foundation is Jesus Christ, our Lord; we are a new creation by water and the Word. From heav’n he came and taught us what perfect love can be; through life and death he sought us, and rose to set us free.

Father, we are Yours and Yours alone this morning. No person, event, situation or circumstance takes precedence over our need to praise Your name right now. Nothing is on our hearts and minds but You. We deflect every distraction, and cancel every errant thought. We center our thoughts on Your will, Your way and Your word. 

Lord, we are honored, delighted and blessed to be considered worthy to carry Your glorious presence within our souls. We are overwhelmed by Your grace and transformed by Your loving compassion toward us. Your love is never ending and Your mercy everlasting. Blessed be Your holy name. 

Holy Spirit, work through us to accomplish Your assignments this day we pray. Cause us not to stray or be weary in well-doing. It is our fondest desire to be pleasing in Your sight. We pray today that the words of our mouths and meditations of our hearts are acceptable in Thy sight to the glory and honor of Jesus Christ our Lord.
