Monday Morning Meditation

Father, there are times when words escape us, songs and celebration no longer seem relevant and our hearts are heavy burdened. But in those times we are strengthened by knowing you are forever with us. Your power and might support us. Your love and kindness console us. And your grace and mercy brings us through the most trying and difficult situations. 

Lord, we pause to give you praise. Let our hearts rejoice and our souls bless your holy and righteous name. We allow no circumstance or earthly occurrence obstruct our Kingdom view. May our eyes behold your glory and our hearts be ever blessed by your love and affection. 

Holy Ghost, help us now we pray. Come to the aid of the grieving, oppressed, depressed, stressed and downtrodden. Lift us from the doldrums of sin and oppression. Free us from every obsession, addiction and vice that attempts to hold us captive. Save us. Deliver us from evil; for Thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory. In Jesus name we pray.
