You may build great cathedrals large or small, you can build skyscrapers grand and tall, you may conquer all the failures of the past, but only what you do for Christ will last. Remember only what You do for Christ will last. Remember only what you do for Christ will last, only what you do for Him will be counted at the end; only what you do for Christ will last.

Father, we come before you again, praising you for this moment: for this is the day the Lord has made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. We refuse to make this a time of complaint, grievance, or sadness. No matter our situation, condition, or circumstance, Father, You have been good. We reserve this time to worship You. We set aside this moment to glorify Your holy and wonderful name. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, AND ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD. 

Lord, we are delighted and filled with joy to be able to experience another morning filled with new mercies, blessings and glory. Great is Thy faithfulness. We know Your love will carry us through. It doesn’t matter the situation. We are not moved by circumstance. We totally and completely stand on Your promises, your grace, your mercy, and your love. 

Holy Spirit, lead us today in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Teach us Your ways that we may be pleasing in Your sight; and guide us through the storms of life that we may find that perfect place in the center of Your will. This we pray in Jesus name.
