Monday Morning Meditation

Jesus is all the world to me, My life, my joy, my all. He is my strength from day to day, Without Him I would fall. When I am sad, to Him I go, No other one can cheer me so; When I am sad, He makes me glad, He’s my Friend.

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Thy holy name. We worship You this morning in Spirit and in Truth. We bow before Your holy presence in complete reverence, surrender and submission. You are God and there is none other. You are great and greatly to praise. We glorify You, honor, and adore You both now and forevermore. 

Lord, we set our affections on those things You have provided for us. You are our Shepherd and we have no wants, desires, or needs beyond what You’ve designed for our lives. We submit ourselves to You completely, knowing You know what’s best. Glory to Your wonderful name. 

Holy Spirit, comfort us today. Lead us, guide us, strengthen and protect us. Help us to continue in the ways of holiness. Direct our thinking, help us focus our attention on things above. Be in us, work through us, and let the light of Your glory shine all around us. It is in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord that we pray.
