Monday Morning Meditation

I love him I love him because he first loved me and purchased my salvation on Calvary’s tree.   

Father, we are delighted, honored, privileged and grateful to have this precious opportunity to come before Your holy presence again today. You have been gracious beyond imagination, and kind beyond explanation. There is none like You in heaven above, or on the earth below. Holy and righteous is our God. Hallowed be Thy holy name.   

Lord, in us resides a spirit of gratefulness. We’re grateful for how You’ve blessed us. Grateful for how You’ve kept us. Grateful for all Your love, kindness and affection. You loved us when we didn’t even love ourselves. Your name shall be praise, Your name shall be praise, the name of the Lord is a mighty string tower, Your name shall be praise.   

Holy Spirit, raise up a song in our hearts that never ends. Reach deep within our souls and bring worship from the hidden places, joy from our broken places, and heartfelt praise from our lips. Produce in us a true spirit of service. Let our love be without prejudice, pretense or partiality. Open our hearts, clarify our thoughts and let our will be Thine. These things we ask in the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
