Monday Morning Meditation

I don't know why Jesus loved me, I don't know why He cared. I don't know why He sacrificed His life. Oh, but I'm glad, so glad He did. Oh, but I'm glad, so glad He did. 

Father, thank you for another glorious day. This is the day you have made, and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Glory to your holy and righteous name. You alone are worthy. You alone are to be magnified and glorified, worshipped and praised. With all that is in us, we adore and honor you. 

Lord, we stand before your glorious presence repentant and sorrowful for every indiscretion, sin, failure and folly we’ve allowed ourselves to be overcome with. We confess our weaknesses, and turn over our lives to your control. Please forgive us. Reestablish our place of prominence, power and authority in you. Create in us cleans hearts and renew your Spirit in us we pray. 

Holy Ghost, we desire your leading, guidance, instruction and understanding. Move upon your people this day. Open our eyes, clear every blind spot. Remove each impediment, every stumbling block and any barrier that would prohibit our free and full expression of love and adoration for you and your people. Thank you for these and all the many blessings you’ve bestowed upon us. It’s in Jesus name that we pray.
