Monday Morning Meditation

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father, there is no shadow of turning with Thee. Thou changest not. Thy compassions, they fail not. As Thou hast been, Thou forever wilt be. Great is Thy faithfulness, great is Thy faithfulness, Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed Thy hand hath provided. Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me. 

Father, you are truly great and greatly to be praised. Your name is above every other. Your power, might and strength are far beyond compare. Your love is never ending, and mercies everlasting. Great is thy faithfulness unto us, always. 

Lord, we beg forgiveness for every sin, idle thought, rebellious attitude or inconvenient conversation we allowed ourselves to participate in that did not bring you glory. We know you to be faith and just, please wash away every stain of unrighteousness and vestige of carnality. We desire to be holy; we desire to live right. Help us Lord. 

Holy Spirit, please continue to guide our footsteps again this day as you have all the previous days of our lives. Regulate our hearts and minds. Comfort our souls. Calm our spirits, and make us whole. Cause our lives to resemble your design, not our own. We want to walk like you, talk like you and be all that you’d have us become. We surrender. Have your way in us today and always. It’s in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord that we pray.
