Morning Meditation

There’s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus: No, not one! No, not one! None else could heal all our souls’ diseases: No, not one! No, not one! Jesus knows all about our struggles; He will guide ’til the day is done: There’s not a Friend like the lowly Jesus: No, not one! No, not one!

Father, we bless your holy name with deep reverence and respect; knowing you, and you alone are God. You are Sovereign in all you ways. You are holy, righteous, faithful and true. Your will and desire is our command. 

Lord, with a loud voice we praise you. With unabashed enthusiasm we worship you. You are worthy of all honor, adoration, devotion and love. We pause this very moment in celebration for all the glorious things you’ve done for us. You are beyond gracious. You are beyond true. You are eternally wonderful and forever King of our souls. 

Holy Ghost, reign in our hearts today. Speak to us. Guide us. Direct, teach, instruct and steer us in the direction of the cross. You are the pilot of our lives and navigator of our days. Where you lead us we will certainly follow. Help us, heal us and save us all we pray. These things we faithfully ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
