Morning Meditation

I love Jesus, He's my Savior, When the storms are raging, He's my shelter, Where He leads me I will follow, I love Jesus, And He loves me. 

Father, as we reflect on your love, grace and in-dwelling power, our hearts are overwhelmed with joy. Glory to your name. You devised, developed and created a plan of salvation for each of us to fully discover and uncover your love. You provided a way of escape for each of us to experience your grace, and you prepared a place in our souls where you forever abide. Blessed be the name of our God. 

Lord, we praise you today for your expression of unfathomable affection and incalculable generosity at Calvary’s cross. There’s no way we could ever understand how, or why you care for us so much. There’s no way we can ever repay you for rescuing and ransoming us from the hands of the enemy. Thank you Lord for setting us free. 

Holy Spirit, we need you now. We are leaning, depending, relying and submitting to your urging right now. Fill us to overflowing this day we pray. Take control of our thoughts, wills, desires, proclivities, attitudes and affections. Make us, mold us and develop us into the soldiers you want us to be. The servants you need us to be. And the friends you gave your life to redeem. These things we ask in the matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
