Morning Meditation

Repent and be baptized, in the name of Jesus, remission of your sins. And you shall receive, you shall receive, and you shall receive, the gift of the Holy Ghost. 

Father, we come before your holy and righteous throne of grace, mercy and love this morning, anxiously awaiting to receive blessings from heaven. We need your power. We need your anointing. We need your deliverance, and we need your joy. Please shower down your glory upon us. Let your glory cloud hover over our lives and our lands. Let the fire of the Holy Ghost descend upon us from above exactly as it did on the Day of Pentecost. Live among us, in us and work through us this day we pray. 

Lord, we thank you for sparing our lives; keeping us from hurt, harm and danger. We bless your holy name for sustaining us and maintaining us. You are the joy of our salvation. You are our heart’s delight and the lover of our souls. No one loves us the way you do; and in return we love, esteem and adore you above everything else. You are our soul’s desire and everlasting hope. Thank you for redeeming us, selecting, electing and preparing us for a victorious life in you. 

Holy Spirit, we will follow your leading today. Teach us. Speak to us, instruct, guide and provide much needed direction. Interpret our prayer and the truest passions of our souls. We acknowledge we don’t know how to pray as we ought. Help us to become more selfless, loving, kind and true. Help us to become more like you. Bless us all. These things we ask in the powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
