Weekend Meditation

I’ll say yes Lord yes, to your will and to your way. I’ll say yes Lord yes, I will trust you and obey. When your Spirit speaks to me, with my whole heart I’ll agree; and my answer will be yes Lord yes. 

Father, your love toward us is incomprehensible. We cannot fathom why you have such deep trust in us and devotion for us; for we have failed you time and time again, yet you still contend and deal graciously with us all. For this we bless your Holy and Righteous name. You are worthy of all honor, glory and praise. We bow down and worship you now. 

Lord, we extend our hands toward heaven this morning as a gesture of deep surrender. We surrender our will, our ways, our plans, processes and everything near and dear to us in exchange for your presence. For we know, only in your presence is there fullness of joy. 

Holy Spirit have your way in our lives today. Let your presence permeate our hearts and minds. Let your anoint renew and strengthen us. Empower us Lord. Cleanse us. Save and sanctify us to your glory and honor; and make us instruments in service for the dissemination of your everlasting love to everyone in need. These things we pray in the glorious name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
