Weekend Meditation

My faith looks up to thee, Thou Lamb of Calvary, Savior Divine! Now hear me while I pray, take all my guilt away, O let me from this day be wholly thine!

Father of Glory, our Sovereign Potentate, You are King of this world and Majesty of all the universe. You are Creator of everything and our Righteous Lord. There is nothing that escapes your attention, or is beyond your authority to command. Yet you graciously grant us the privilege to come before your Most Holy Throne. Great is Your name and greatly to be praised. Thine is truly the Kingdom, the power and the glory. 

Lord, we delight to be in your presence today. We are compelled by your love and drawn close by your kindness. We willingly, humbly and graciously surrender our lives to you. You alone are worthy to be praised, honored and adored. You are Lord of our lives and lover of our souls; in you we live, breathe and have our being. Glory to your name. 

Holy Spirit, descend upon us with your power, anointing, glory and righteousness. Fill our hearts with your love. Fill our minds with your desires and merge our wills with yours. Make us one, even as You are One. We bless and worship you with all that is within us. These things we affirm in the blessed name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
