Weekend Meditation

I feel like going on. I feel like going on. Though trials may come on every hand, I feel like going on. I feel like pressing my way. I feel like pressing my way. Though trials may come on every hand. I feel like pressing my way. 

Father, we come before Your glorious presence this morning excited, thankful and appreciative for the opportunity to bless Your holy name. Your grace and mercy are evident in our lives. Your love and kindness overwhelm us. We cannot praise You enough. We cannot thank You enough. Glory to Your marvelous name. 

Lord we pray that your anointing is upon us to such a degree that everyone we meet and greet will experience the joy of your presence. Let our speech and manner of life be a beacon of hope to the hopeless. Let our testimony of your saving grace resonant and ring true to every soul that hears from us. Let the words of our mouths and meditations of our hearts be acceptable in thy sight. 

Holy Ghost, prepare us for battle today. Prepare our hearts, minds, bodies and souls. Clothe us with righteousness. Adore us with power. Increase our effectiveness, and expand our capacity to sincerely love. We need an additional touch of fortitude, bravery, tenacity and strength. We need a bit more of You. It’s in the name of Jesus Christ that we pray.
