Weekend Meditation

Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before. Every day with Jesus, I love Him more and more, Jesus saves and keeps me, He’s the One that I adore. Every day with Jesus is sweeter than the day before.

Our Father, Lord of Glory, Sovereign of heaven and Righteous King, with every ounce of strength within these feeble bodies we bless Your holy name. You alone are worthy. You alone are true. You alone rule the cosmos, control the universes, with all power and authority in Your hands. Yet, You take the time to care for, and to love our sin sick souls. What a gracious God we serve. 

Lord, we ask this morning that You prepare us to be sanctuaries. Prepare our hearts and minds to more diligently work in Your vineyard. We acknowledge the harvest is ready, and there are too few laborers. Include us in those few. And please give us caring hearts, thoughtful minds and compassionate spirits; just like You. 

Lord, infuse us with the stamina, endurance and power of the Holy Ghost. We need Your assistance right away. Holy Spirit, come to our rescue. Equip us for the journey ahead. Empower us for the battles before us. And enhance our discernment, our desire and resolve to serve and love You more and more each and every day. These things we pray in Jesus name.
