Weekend Meditation

Everybody ought to know, Everybody ought to know, Everybody ought to know, Who Jesus is. He's the lily of the valley, He's the brightest morning star, He's the fairest of ten thousand. Everybody ought to know.

Father, we are eternally grateful for Your provision of grace, salvation and glory through the sacrifice of Your only Son. Your love rescued and restored our hope when we were hopelessly lost. Our sins alienated us from Your presence. Our rebellion caused us to forfeit Your grace. But thank you for sending Jesus, our Christ and Redeemer to repair the breach and separation. We are now overjoyed to be called the children of God. 

Lord, our lives belong to You. Our hearts are Yours. Our minds, spirits, body and souls belong to You. You’ve purchase our salvation with Your own blood. By Your stripes we are healed. We are free, empowered, anointed, appointed, and adopted into the family of heaven. And for this we give You all our praise. 

Holy Spirit, our Comforter and everlasting friend, we desire to be pleasing in Your sight. Please guide us, teach, direct and instruct us in the ways of holiness. Lord, don’t let us fail, we continuously want to be Your bride, Your prize, Your inheritance, Your servants, warriors and friends. It is with total love and surrender that we offer this prayer. In Jesus name.
