Weekend Meditation

Oh Lord, my God, When I, in awesome wonder consider all the worlds Thy hands have made. I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee, How great Thou art, how great Thou art. Then sings my soul, my Savior God to Thee, How great Thou art, how great Thou art. 

Father, there are no words, expressions, images or sounds that can even approach explaining Your greatness. Your love is beyond comprehension, and Your kindness beyond knowing. We bless Your holy and magnificent name. We bow before Your presence, surrendering everything we have, everything we want, and everything we are to Your will and desire. 

Lord, we declare Your righteousness in the land of the living this morning. You alone are righteous. You alone are holy. And You alone are worthy to be honored, praised and adored. Our lives are enriched simply because we have come to know You. Our destinies are secured only because You made us Your friends. We follow You completely. We worship You unabashedly. And we love You without reservation. 

Holy Spirit, please make our pathways clear today. Open doors of opportunity that have been shut. Shut doors of distraction that are intended to do us harm. Sanctify, anoint, empower and save us all. These things we pray in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and King.
