Weekend Meditation

Bless that wonderful name of Jesus, Bless that wonderful name of the Lord. Bless that wonderful name of Jesus, there’s no other name I know. There's power in the name of Jesus , There's power in the name of the Lord. There's power in the name of Jesus no other name I know. 

Father, as we rise this morning, before we do anything, we are mindful to bless Your holy name.  We bless You for keeping, protecting and caring for us all night long as we slumbered and slept. You woke us up. You gave us another chance to serve, and to labor in your vineyard. We are joyous for Your interaction with us, and for this we cannot praise You enough. 

Lord, Your love sustains us. Your mercy maintains us. Your grace fills us with the joy of salvation. For we are saved by grace through faith. Truly, we believe, and trust, and rely solely upon Your power and righteousness. We walk by faith, live with faith, and abide in faith that we may please You. You are our righteousness. You alone are our covering, sanctuary and safe place. Glory to Your name. 

Holy Spirit, we delight in the opportunity to be witnesses to this dying world of our Lord’s impending return. We are anxious to work, and call all who hear into the safety we have been afforded through the sacrifice of the blood of Christ. It is for this cause we pray and solicit Your anointing upon our lives. In Jesus name.
