Weekend Meditation

There is a name I love to hear, I love to sing its worth; it sounds like music in my ear, the sweetest name on earth. O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, because he first loved me. 

Father, we bless Your name above everything in the earth, under the earth, above and beyond heaven or earth. You alone reign supreme. You have preeminence over all things, knowledge of all things, and understanding, concern and care beyond all comprehension. Thank You for loving us. Hallowed be Your holy and righteous name. 

Lord, we find solace, peace, comfort and relief in Your loving arms. In You there is fullness of joy. Of all the people on earth, we have been unduly blessed and highly favored to have the privilege to know You, to serve You, and to be cared for by You. Glory to Your name. 

Holy Ghost, descend upon Your people now we pray. Fill us with power, infuse us with anointing, empower us with purpose: Have Your way in us this day we pray. Please touch those in desperate need, heal the sick and afflicted, comfort the mourning, strengthen the weak, and save us all. These things we graciously ask in the name of Jesus Christ our King.
