Weekend Meditation

I am weak, and I need Thy strength and power, to help me over my weakest hour; let me through the darkness Thy face to see, lead me, O Lord, lead me. Lead me, guide me along the way; for if You lead me, I cannot stray; Lord, let me walk each day with Thee. Lead me, O Lord, lead me.

Father, even through all our brokenness, indecision, rebellion, faithlessness, fear and backsliding, You remain forever faithful. Each morning new mercies we see. Great is Thy faithfulness toward us. Bless the name of our God

Lord, words are inadequate to describe our love and adoration for You. There’s nothing we can say or do to express Your awesomeness. No deed or declaration can describe the peace within our souls and joy in our hearts. As inadequate as it may be, the only thing we can say is, “Thank You’”. 

Thank You for life. Thank You for love. Thank You for salvation. Thank You for Your grace. Thank You for saving us, dying at Calvary that we may be free. Thank You for living inside each of us. Thank You for keeping us, believing in us (when we didn’t even believe in You). Thank You for this opportunity to bless You: to pray with and for my sisters and brothers. Thank You for this very moment and all Your many blessings to come. Thank You Jesus.
