Weekend Meditation

Lord, I’ve started to walk in the light, shining upon me from heaven so bright; I bade the world and its follies adieu, I’ve started with Jesus, and I’m going through. I’m going through, yes, I’m going through; I’ll pay the price, whatever others do; I’ll take the way with the Lord’s despised few, I’ve started with Jesus, and I’m going through. 

Father, we thank You for another glorious day with which to serve and honor You. We praise Your name, and worship You for who You are. We lift our voices in song and our hearts in surrender, our hands in dedicated service, with our minds continuously stayed on You. 

Lord, we truly delight in the opportunity to share in united supplication with our Kingdom siblings from every corner of the globe. We seek and solicit Your return. We seek Kingdom this morning. Thy Kingdom come and will be done on earth as it is in heaven. 

Holy Spirit, please soften and make pliable our stony and concrete hearts, our unyielding and irreverent attitudes, and our unloving personalities. Replace them all with Your Spirit of kindness, generosity, selflessness and congeniality. In Jesus name we pray.
