I know it was the blood, I know it was the blood, I know it was the blood for me; One day when I was lost, He died on the cross, I know it was the blood for me.
Heavenly Father, we thank you for your sacrifice at Calvary that continues to flood our souls with hope, comfort, compassion and joy.
We hold on to the hope of salvation established in our spirits through your divine intervention. You gave us what we could never earn, merit, imagine or barter for. We enjoy the comfort of knowing how much you love and care for us. Because of your affection, we are filled with compassion for the lost, the lonely, the downtrodden and destitute. And our hearts are filled with joy, ringing in our souls. We celebrate because today we are saved by grace through faith in you alone. This is the day you have made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Holy Spirit, lift us above the turmoil of this present age. Allow us to see your glory. We beg to feel your comforting arms around us in these times of great distress. We long to experience your power in the presence of our enemies. Please help us. Deliver us. Fill us with your anointing and make us strong. We delight to be your children; Lord don’t let us fail. Let our hearts be true, our mouths speak truth and our lives prove that you are the Truth, the Way and the Life. These things we humbly ask in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
