Weekend Meditation

I've had some good days. I've had some hills to climb. I've had some weary days, And some sleepless nights. But when I, when I look around, And I think things over, All of my good days, Outweigh my bad days. I won't complain. 

Father, we come this morning to bless your magnificent name as we worship you in Spirit and in Truth. Thank you for filling our hearts with joy and our souls with gladness. Glory to your your splendid countenance. You are forever wonderful, marvelous and true. What a mighty God we serve. 

Lord, we stand before your holy presence again today ready to be used in your service. Empower us to be your witnesses. Let our lights shine bright and our testimonies ring out loud. Let the world see you in us and us in you. Let our vision be clear, our assignments certain and our pathways illuminated by your ever present Spirit. 

Holy Spirit, we surrender our ambitions, goals, missions, plans and thoughts to you. Lead us, guide us, teach and direct us to righteousness and holy living. Cause us to be instruments in your hands that direct countless souls to salvation. Make us what you’d have us be. Not our wills, but your will be done. These things we pray in Jesus name.
