Weekend Meditation

He’s a wonderful Savior to me. He’s a wonderful Savior to me. I was lost in sin, but Jesus took me in; He’s a wonderful Savior to me. 

Father, we are ecstatic at the mere mention of your name. We are overcome with delight at the very thought of being in your presence. The thought that You, who have created the heavens and earth, the moon and stars, the universe and every living thing, has found favor in us is beyond comprehension. We are incapable of understanding your great love, your inexhaustible affection and your everlasting favor. This morning we simply praise your holy name with all that is in us. Glory be to God our Father and Eternal King. 

Lord, we pray this day that the words of our mouths and meditations of our hearts are forever pleasing in your sight. We live to serve you, impress you, to glorify and lift your name high above the earth. For there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. 

Holy Spirit, you are our comfort and our joy. We delight in your companionship. We listen intently at the sound of your voice whispering to our souls. Speak Lord and we will obey. Direct us and we will comply. Heal us and make us whole that we may serve you more completely. Deliver us from temptation and evilness. Save and sanctify us all we pray. These things we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord.
