Weekend Meditation

Rise, shine, give God the glory. Rise, shine, give God the glory. Rise, shine, give God the glory. Soldiers of the cross.

Father, we come to your throne of grace again this morning to pay tribute and honor to your marvelous name. You are from everlasting to everlasting; Awesome is your name. Great is our God and greatly to be praised in all the earth. Let the angels rejoice and the heavens sing with us in unison, “Glory be to God our Father, Creator, Lord and King.”

Spirit of the Living Christ, fall fresh on us this morning we pray. Make us. Mold us. Prepare us, and sustain us for the journeys ahead. Fortify our faith, renew our strength and steady our resolve to follow and obey your every command. You are the captain of our souls. We entrust everything we have, and all that we are to you. 

Lord, we are forever grateful for your election of each of us for service in Kingdom building. We are honored beyond words at your faith and trust in us. We pledge to do our very best to be pleasing in your sight and to do your will. We ask only that you strengthen us, empower us, anoint and glorify us to meet the demands of the great calling you’ve placed on our lives. Be glorified by us. Be pleased with us. Be in us all today and always. These things we pray in Jesus name.
