Our academic medical centers, Hackensack University Medical Center, JFK University Medical Center and Jersey Shore University Medical Center have earned Joint Commission Certification as Comprehensive Stroke Centers, the highiest level of accreditation for hospitals that have specific abilities to receive and treat the most complex stroke cases. All nine of our community medical centers have earned Joint Commission Certification as Primary Stroke Centers.”
